KPSC stockholders have access to great PROGRAMS AND
SERVICES that enhance your competitiveness and connect you to
opportunities for business growth. Below is a sample of our
current benefits. Call us at 1-800-279-3022 for more
details.
New Pace-McKesson Agreement – Pace has entered into a long-term agreement with McKesson Corporation effective September 1, 2009 that will lead to McKesson becoming Pace's exclusive pharmaceutical distributor. This agreement is actually the first of a number of changes Pace is planning to transform its programs to meet the future needs of state shareholder organizations and members. The move to the exclusive relationship will be gradual as Pace has agreements with other wholesalers that it will continue to support through the term of those agreements. The new relationship will help provide a platform for Pace to continue to strongly serve members nationally for many years to come.
Public Relations Campaign -
Kansas Hometown Pharmacy promotes the great value of KPSC pharmacies. The second edition of the campaign includes television ads in the first three months of 2009. Stockholders can tie their pharmacies to the campaign via use of T.V., radio or print ads.
Political Action – KPSC provides strong leadership,
representing the interests of independents on key political,
legislative and third party issues that can impact your
practice.
Pharmacy Management Consulting Services - KPSC will reimburse stockholders up to $1,000 of the initial fee of two specified vendors. The Board has approved this benefit for only up to 15 stockholders at this time. Call Ron Yoder at 1-800-279-3022 if you have questions on this benefit.
Pharmacy Select Generic Pricing Program – As a
participant in KPSC, you are part of the combined buying power of Pace and
two other national buying groups. Pharmacy Select is the largest negotiator of generics for independents in the U.S.
