KPSC pays for an experienced contract lobbying firm to
represent independent pharmacy needs in state legislative matters.
KPSC plays a leading role in addressing various federal and
state legislative issues for Kansas Pharmacy (e.g.,
Medicare Part D, AMP, PBM issues, State Board of
Pharmacy issues).
KPSC has a Government Relations Committee and a
Political Action Committee (PAC) to expand our
presence for state legislative advocacy.
KPSC’s Entrepreneurial Opportunities Group (EOG) has increased
student interest in independent pharmacy careers. These
efforts are focused on connecting students with KPSC pharmacies.

scholarships to 62 K.U. pharmacy students since 1998.
Many are now owners or employees today at independent
practices in Kansas. • we have
provided over $39,000 to the EOG scholarship fund.
