Our web site helps you learn much about KPSC and its many programs, initiatives and benefits. Stockholders have special, everyday access to the Stockholders Only section for Fax-O-Grams, Medicare information, our Member Bulletin Board and to link you to Pace for contract item pricing. Go to the Stockholders Only section of the website to see recent Fax-O-Grams. Also, please call us at 1-800-279-3022 on any questions.
KPSC has had a very successful 2007, thanks to the great participation of our stockholder pharmacies. Our very competitive agreements with our contracting wholesalers have resulted in 48 new pharmacies joining the KPSC-Pace buying program in the last two years. KPSC has maintained active political advocacy in the past year. We have played a leadership role on key legislative issues, including AMP and controlled substance monitoring. Our Entrepreneurial Opportunities Group (EOG) initiative is now in its eleventh year, promoting independent pharmacy careers to KU students. KPSC has provided 89 scholarships to 69 students since 1998 through the EOG program, contributing more than $42,000 to the EOG Scholarship Fund. Many EOG scholarship winners are now owners or employees at Kansas independent pharmacies.
KPSC is sponsoring a comprehensive public relations campaign to promote the great value of KPSC pharmacies in 2008. KPSC stockholder pharmacies will receive more information on the public relations campaign from the KPSC office in early January, 2008.
KPSC will be holding its 2008 Mid-Year meeting on April 5 & 6, 2008 at the Captial Plaza Hotel in Topeka, Kansas. Look for more information on the Mid-Year meeting in late January to early February.
